The Prototyping 工作室 is where your ideas come to life! Our studio is open to anyone on campus—students, faculty, and 工作人员. The 设计思考 Initiative hosts a wide range of workshops, including student 工作人员 led workshops, 客座设计师工作坊, club workshops or bonding activities, 和茶会活动.

Do you have an idea for a workshop?

  • Capen Annex is unlocked when there is 工作人员 present. There is professional 工作人员 during weekdays from 9 a.m. 到5点.m, and student 工作人员 throughout the evening until 9:30 p.m.

What materials can I use and do I have to bring my own? 我可以用多少材料?

We can't support the mass production of sold products. If you are planning on making customized one-off products, 请自行购买材料，优先使用其他设备.

We love materials donations, especially:

  • Acrylic or other lasercuttable materials
  • Sewing supplies (thread, needles, unused fabric, scissors, etc)
  • Craft supplies (paint, glue, tape, wire, etc)
